The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi), this morning officially swore into office the newly elected Bantama Constituency Executive Committee.

In his address, Chairman Wontumi congratulated the executives on their successful election and reminded them that victory at the polls is only the beginning of the real work. He charged them to put aside all differences that emerged during the internal elections and work tirelessly to unite every member of the party in the constituency.

He emphasized that the NPP’s ultimate objective is to secure a resounding victory in the 2028 general elections, stressing that unity, discipline, loyalty, and hard work must remain the guiding principles of every executive.

Chairman Wontumi further delegated authority to the constituency executives to appoint persons to the various appointed portfolios. However, he urged them to ensure that such appointments are based on merit, loyalty, commitment, and a genuine willingness to serve the party. He encouraged them to select individuals who have consistently demonstrated love for the NPP, are prepared to work diligently, and are willing to make personal sacrifices—including committing their own resources—for the growth and success of the party.

The Regional Chairman assured the executives of his continuous support and reiterated his commitment to visiting every constituency in the Ashanti Region to personally swear in newly elected executives as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s structures from the grassroots.

The newly sworn-in executives expressed their appreciation to Chairman Wontumi for his inspiring leadership and pledged, after taking the oath of office, to remain united, work faithfully, and dedicate themselves to rebuilding and strengthening the NPP in Bantama ahead of the 2028 elections.
